The news was announced by HHH on the live WWE Main Event show on the WWE Network.
Of course, this will not make a lot of people happy, especially since most of the Cena haters were happy with what took place on Sunday night. They thought they were rid of Cena for a while, but he will be right back in the swing of things, at least for one more pay-per-view.
Now of course, with the way that Lesnar want over at SummerSlam, it would be a monumental failure for Cena to take his title back just another month later. But in the end, this is the WWE Creative Team that we’re talking about here, so anything really is possible.
But like it or not, a Cena-Lesnar rematch is what we will be getting for the Night of Champions show, a show that the company wants to build up as another WrestleMania, more or less.
