WWE NXT taping results for 8 July 2015 show opened with NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks and Charlotte defeating Dana Brooke and Emma. Charlotte, however, only agreed to team with Banks with the NXT Women's Champion would defend her title against her next week. Banks agreed.
Solomon Crowe used the Stretch Muffler to defeat Marcus Louis in a great match.
The next match was to determine the No. 1 contenders for the NXT Tag Team Championship. The Vaudevillians defeated Enzo Amore and Colin Cassidy to become the No.1 contender.
Jason Jordan and Chad Gable defeated Elias Sampson and Steve Cutler.
Samoa Joe defeating Axel Tischer in the worst main event. Joe celebrated with fans to end the show.
