So, here it ends. Sasha Banks vs Becky Lynch will take place on Monday Night RAW next week. The winner of the match will fight Charlotte at Wrestlemania 32 for Divas Title.
It had looked like WWE were going to do a triple threat for the Divas Title at Mania, and that could still be the case. Perhaps there’ll be a none finish in monday’s match. If there is going to be just one challenger, it is almost certainly Sasha Banks, and that seems a little too predictable. It would also be harsh on Becky Lynch if WWE didn’t give her a Mania match, when she’s been so impressive over the past few months.
Indeed, Banks versus Lynch versus Charlotte could be one of the highlights of WrestleMania, and there’s still plenty of time to do the Sasha versus Charlotte feud in the months afterwards. If the decision is made to go with a Sasha versus Charlotte one on one at Mania, it will of course be an excellent contest, with Banks likely lifting the gold.
As for Lynch winning Monday’s Raw match, it seems very unlikely they’d put her against Charlotte one on one again so soon after the match they had at Royal Rumble. It is going to be Banks, or a twist to set up the triple threat.
