- Bo Dallas defeated Justin Gabriel.
- Paige defeated Summer Rae. AJ Lee was on commentary during the match.
- Mark Henry defeated Rusev in an International Arm Wrestling competition.
- Dolph Ziggler and R-Truth defeated The Miz and Damien Sandow.
- Chris Jericho and Roman Reigns defeated Randy Orton and Seth Rollins
From the look of it, it seems like there will be plenty of matches to promote Night of Champions.
Unlike plenty of shows on the blue brand, this episode will have meaningful matches that may even include a little bit of feud progression, especially with the main event of the night. We could see plenty of animosity being built between Y2J and Orton after the former’s attack on Monday Night Raw. The same goes for Paige’s match with AJ on commentary and the arm wrestling competition.
Justin Gabriel and R-Truth are getting rare main roster air time. Truth hasn’t been on TV too many times this year since his partnership with Xavier Woods, who was debuting at the time. Gabriel has been mostly regulated to WWE Superstars for a long time.
