WWE Smackdown Results *SPOILERS*

-The Authority opens the show. Kane and Seth Rollins get into it, as per usual, after Rollins made fun of the big man for losing to John Cena. Kane gets in his face and tells him to lay down for him and return the favor from a few weeks ago, or he’d rip his guts out.
-A referee comes out and eventually the champion lays down, but Kane says he was only messing around. Instead he announces a match with Dean Ambrose.
-Dean Ambrose comes down and is attacked from behind by Luke Harper. A brawl breaks down with all the heels attacking Ambrose, until Roman Reigns runs out to make the save. This sets up the obligatory Smackdown tag team main event.
(1) Neville & Dolph Ziggler def. Sheamus & Bad News Barrett. It was actually Neville who pinned Barrett with the Red Arrow.
2) Naomi def. Natalya.
(3) Ryback def. Rusev. The match ended in DQ. This should have been a hugely built-up SummerSlam program with Rusev still the U.S. champ. Oh well. Rusev attacked him with a chain and put him in the accolade.
(4) Kofi Kingston def. Cesaro. Tons of shenanigans going on outside the ring between the New Day and Tyson Kidd.
(5) Roman is actually pretty over here. Dean works most of the match getting beaten down trying to make the hot tag to Reigns. He cleaned house, hit the spear on Rollins and pinned the WWE Champion for the 1-2-3.
