The Rock appeared on NBC's Today Show this morning to promote San Andreas and said their goal with the movie was to re-define natural disaster films. The Rock also talked about his character, who has issues with his wife and daughter, crying in the movie and said it was easy to cry because he understood what it was like being a divorced father, so he put himself in the mindset of never seeing his own daughter again.
