The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the Night of Champions show set to take place on Sun., Sept. 21, 2014, at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. This is the eighth annual event in the chronology of the gimmick show that features every title in the promotion being put up for grabs
We're one month out from showtime and just one match is official for the show but plenty of rumors accompany it.
- Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena (WWE world heavyweight championship)
The rematch from SummerSlam was made official just days after Lesnar won the title in what amounted to a squash match. This is an intriguing return bout if only because it's unclear how WWE will book it.
- Paige vs. AJ Lee*
This would be the latest in a long series in a feud dating all the way back to April when Paige first won the title from AJ the night after WrestleMania.
- Chris Jericho vs. Bray Wyatt*
Jericho will finish up his latest run with the company in his third and final match with Wyatt.
- Sheamus vs. Cesaro*
They've been teasing this as the direction starting at the WWE 2K15 panel at SummerSlam.
- The Usos vs. Stardust & Goldust*
The tag titles will be on the line in some form or fashion, and Stardust & Goldust are currently getting a moderate push in that direction.
