Months back we noted that Wade “Bad News” Barrett was originally eyeing a return in November for the European tour, but his doctor had originally estimated a return in early December. Obviously the European tour didn’t happen, but at this point, Barrett is still four to six weeks away from returning to the ring.
If all goes according to plan, he is hoping to head back to the WWE Performance Center in about three weeks to start putting back on muscle and working off ring rust. That timetable would put him back on either the December 29th or January 5th edition of Monday Night RAW. It’s possible we could see Barrett make a non-physical appearance on the December 8th show, which will host the annual Slammy Awards.
