WWE writers have given a surprising twist to the Team Authority versus Team John Cena's rivalry by firing Ryback, Dolph Ziggler and Erick Rowan. The trio was punished by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon on Monday Night Raw episode for teaming up with John Cena in Survivor Series in 2014.
Now, Ryback, Dolph Ziggler and Erick Rowan are jobless in the storyline but they might return to the main stage soon. The writers will be looking for good ideas to bring them back with interesting twists, like Seth Rollins bringing The Authority back to power.
The Royal Rumble is just around the corner and they could possibly return before January 19 episode of Monday Night Raw. However, their absence will not help the cause and the WWE writers are unlikely to keep them away for long.
The WWE fans can expect some gimmicks in the coming weeks to bring back the trio and to ensure that the storylines get good hype before the Royal Rumble. Their presence in the forthcoming pay-per-view is crucial for the show to get a good buzz. Even their fans want them on WWE soon. Nonetheless, there is no guarantee that Ryback, Dolph Ziggler and Erick Rowan will feature in the Royal Rumble if the WWE think tank has big plans for them in WrestleMania 31, which is still three months away.
However, the three stars are billed as the next big stars of the WWE and in that case, they cannot be ignored for an event like Royal Rumble.
Are Ryback, Dolph Ziggler and Erick Rowan Returning to WWE in Royal Rumble?
