With less than four days to go before the event, UFC officials made the decision to close half the Bell Centre.
This means that ticket holders located in sections 200, 300 and400 will probably be allocated better seats.
For $68.25, you can now have a good seat in the reds (lower bowl).
This is around the same price as it costs to order the HD version of the pay-per-view in Canada.
The UFC has drawn in excess of 23,000 people to events in the Bell Centre before, and drew 20,145 for their last event in the arena in 2013. They've never done less than 17,000 in any of their six events in the home of the Montreal Canadiens, but that will apparently change Saturday night.
To be fair, this news did come out before Quinton Jackson was put back onto the card, but it still means that the show has likely bombed at the gate. A rash of injuries and bout changes have left the card in tatters, and it is now headlined by a flyweight title fight between Demetrious Johnson and Kyoji Horiguchi.
