The final segment of Chair Shot Reality this weekend talks Brock Lesnar vs Dean Ambrose and is it the right match? Plus, discussions on making it more believable and hyped in the build. Here’s some highlights:
Brian Gulish:
I’m OK with this match for Brock Lesnar because of all the injuries. This is one of the only two matches they could do besides Brock versus Bray. I’m alight just because its a street fight, if it was a straight up match I would have a problem but this gimmick gives it potential.Josh Isenberg:
I don’t wanna judge it, so I’m going to implement the Josh system. Two total polar opposites. J: judge objectively. O: observe the storyline. I want to observe how they are going to make Dean Ambrose believable and that’s the biggest thing. S: set expectations. What are going to expect? H: hope for the best. I hope for the best they execute this but I’m very pessimistic because it’s a ridiculous mismatch.Justin LaBar:
It does come down to the fact this is no rules. That is the only way this works. When you put rules in this, there should be no contest to this. Even when they did Brock versus Rollins back in the summer the match being cut off kinda quick with The Undertaker appearance, it was a lot of Rollins landing on his feet when being suplexed. Obviously Ambrose doesn’t have that type of move set and he tries to be more of a rough fighter. So for him to do it against Lesnar it needs to be chair shot, chair shot, chair shot, then low blow. If you show him non stop using any means necessary. We need eye for an eye, we need to see him attack Lesnar in the parking lot.
Beast vs Lunatic Fringe is good decision of WWE?
