Nikki Bella has backstage heat on Booker T.The fallout started after Vince McMahon instructed Booker to run Nikki down on commentary a couple of weeks ago.
As the current Divas Champion, she was said to be furious when the face commentator put over heel Naomi as the best Diva on the WWE roster. She was also on commentary at the time and you could hear the anger in her voice. She stuck up for her own athleticism, but Booker continued to bury her and shut her up.
When she got backstage, she apparently complained.
It is an interesting situation, as it is actually Vince who feeds the lines for commentary. Her heat should be with him, not with Booker. It’s unknown why McMahon wanted to run her down, but it probably stems from something perceived backstage.
As John Cena’s girlfriend, she’s fairly protected. But when the boss of the company is having his commentary team run you down so much, that’s obviously not a good sign for her. Yet she remains the Divas Champion, in a reign spanning over 159 days now.
That will surely all change as soon as the influx of NXT women hits the main roster. The likes of Charlotte and Sasha Banks are going to be massive stars in the WWE.
