Several months ago, we decided not to renew the lease for NBA City so we could create an exciting, new concept for that space. We’ll announce the new concept soon – and it will join all the other great experiences we’ve opened at CityWalk. NBA City closes in late August.
This has led to speculation about a physical WWE Hall of Fame for a number of reasons.
The WWE Performance Center is located in Azaela Park, Florida, making the distance between the two locations ideal (15.9 miles). This would be important to have head officials like Triple H and other executives be able to go back and forth from place to place. Same goes for the Superstars and Divas as a good number of them live in Florida.
Adding a physical WWE Hall of Fame would also provide a tourist attraction for fans. They would see memorabilia from their favorite WWE legends during their finest moments (ex: Hulk Hogan’s Boots from WrestleMania 3).
With fans coming to see memorabilia from their favorite WWE legends, they would also obviously be paying a price to get in. There could be plenty of money to be made off this. There’s also the likelihood of a restaurant being put in, too, which would add to the profits.
A physical WWE Hall of Fame is a fascinating concept that many have wondered why it doesn’t exist. The ceremony one night before WrestleMania is nice but having something similar like the MLB, NHL, NFL and NBA has would be great for the fans to see at any time.
