Ever since Shane McMahon returned to WWE on Raw last week, there has been speculation that his return might be leading to the return of the brand split in WWE, seeing as how Shane is vying for control of the Raw brand.
Speculation on the brand split was furthered when an ad for an upcoming WWE live event was listed as “WWE vs Raw”, but that ad was quickly changed back to “WWE Raw”.
There has indeed been talk within WWE of having the brand split return in the company, but with the way business is today, a brand split might be very difficult for the company to pull off.
