The 2015 WWE Hall of Fame is getting a surprising pair of inductees—The Bushwhackers. The camo-wearing, arm-waving cousins from New Zealand will join Randy Savage and Rikishi as Hall of Famers on the night before WrestleMania 31. WWE announced on Monday, "Luke and Butch will knock down the doors of the WWE Hall of Fame with their patented Battering Ram, as the Kiwis join the Hall's Class of 2015."
WWE's WrestleMania Twitter account let the world know as well:
Luke Williams and Butch Miller were among the most colorful and memorable characters in the WWE in the late '80s and early '90s. They played a pair of uncouth goofs, babyfaces who were clearly designed to appeal to kids. Williams and Miller previously wrestled as The Sheepherders in Australia and Memphis, quickly developing a reputation for being merciless brutes in the ring. That violent style softened with the move to WWE.

It now pays off in the form of a Hall of Fame induction.
About the honor, Williams told Mike Kilpatrick of New Zealand's Stuff, "I'm proud to be a Kiwi going into the Hall of Fame. We're the first people from Australia or New Zealand to go in. I'm like an ambassador for the country." The tag team's upcoming induction now sparks a debate about WWE's choice. Any number of teams, from Demolition to The Hardy Boyz, have stronger cases to join the Hall than The Bushwhackers.
