The injury to the top-ranked Swede was not disclosed in the original report by UFC.com, nor was the future of Teixeira, who can't seem to catch a break these days. I wouldn't be surprised to see him shifted to a card in Brazil, but that's nothing more than speculation at this point.
Jedrzejczyk captured the 115-pound title by turning away Carla Esparza at UFC 185 back in March. Penne, meanwhile, won her Octagon debut with a split-decision win over fellow Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 20 standout Randa Markos.
