WWE Wrestler Hulk Hogan Pays a Special Visit to Sick Children in Melbourne Hospital as Part of Starlight Day Celebrations

He comes across as an angry fighting machine, but Hulk Hogan aka Terry Gene Bollea, showed off his softer side on Friday.WWE Wrestler Hulk Hogan Pays a Special Visit to Sick Children in Melbourne Hospital as Part of Starlight Day Celebrations. While touring Down Under, the professional wrestler and TV personality payed a visit to sick children at Melbourne's Royal Children's Hospital as part of this year's Starlight Day celebrations.

Wearing his trademark red bandanna and dark shades, the 61-year-old brought a smile to the children's faces as he dressed them up as superheroes and made jokes to lighten the mood.

Following his visit, one of the children's parents tweeted their gratitude to Hulk.

'Thank you for taking time to meet my two-year-old son at Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne today. You made his day,.  Recognisable: The 61 year-old showed off his unique Fu Manchu mustache

Once-in-a-lifetime: Parents of the children thanked the TV personality by sending him tweets on Twitter .The Starlight Day is the organisation's biggest annual fundraising day of the year to gather funds to help seriously ill children and their families. 

The charity said they were so grateful for his visit and gave him a special shout out on the Facebook page. ‘Thanks go to Hulk Hogan for making an unforgettable appearance in the ‪#‎StarlightExpressRoom in, The Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne,’ the comment read.  The wrestling champion flew into Melbourne on Thursday to announce a WWE tour which will arrive in Victoria in August.
