The Great Khali is no longer featured on WWE.com’s list of active roster members, and his profile can be found in the WWE Alumni section. The 7-foot giant did not accompany the roster on the recent European tour after being at almost every WWE Live event in September and October, and has only made a handful of appearances on television in 2014.
While the company has not made an official announcement, this would seem to indicate that WWE has come to terms on the release of the Great Khali.
Khali (real name Dalip Singh Rana) is currently 42-years-old, and began his wrestling career in 2000 with All Pro Wrestling. After a brief stint with New Japan Pro Wrestling, he signed a developmental contract with Deep South Wrestling in 2006, and was brought to the WWE Smackdown on the first episode after WrestleMania 22. Within his first month on television, Khali squashed then-World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio, and defeated the Undertaker on PPV.
