With rumors swirling that UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey might want to spend some time in WWE, she recently revealed what sort of character she would want to play.
Throughout the course of the past year or so there have been rumors circling that Ronda Rousey might want to get herself a little more involved with WWE, She was in attendance this past August at SummerSlam out in Los Angeles, but she was merely a spectator.
No, being such a fan of the business that she is, there is no doubt that Rousey would like to be an on-screen character; and given her “Rowdy” persona, it should come as no shock that she wants to be a heel.
Rousey revealed that should she become a character on WWE television, she needs to be a full-fledged heel.
“I can’t take the name of ‘Rowdy’ and not be a heel, that would be an insult to the man I pay tribute to with my name – the great Rowdy Roddy Piper. I would have to try and live up to his legacy as much as possible and I can’t do that being a babyface.”
Personally, being the badass that she is, Rousey could be sort of the Brock Lesnar of the Divas division. While beautiful in her own right, Rousey would be perfect coming in as the legitimate tough girl taking out all of the pin-up girls one at a time.
